Its about respect Ed. Sure 9/11 isnt the worst thing to happen in the world. Pol Pot killed how many people in his reign? Many, many times more than the 9/11 attacks. The thing is, people cant be sympathitic to everything around them or we would never be out of mourning nd couldnt lead normal lifes. The 9/11 attacks are personal to the US, as well as a large number of non-americans. So thats what we focus on and why we take offense at nimrods that belittle the whole thing. Now out of respect, we dont go tell cambodian peasants that the victims of Pol Pot mean nothing, we dont tell them that this kind of thing happens all the time. Why? Because that would be disrespectful, insensitive, immature and just plain pointless.

If you truly dont care, why are you in the middle of every thread about it? Are you lying or just plain fucking dumb? The topics are pretty self explanitory. If you dont want to participate in any additional ceremonies, we would never dream of forcing you, but negative participation is still participation.

BTW - I have always thought that the moderators here were rather leniant in what they allow. If you have a problem with a mod here, most likely you are the problem. Keep up the good work Mods.
