learning the camera is only the first part, photoshop is a whole other ball park. when i get home i'll post how to mess with autofocus. i asked because different settings use the autofocus in different ways. i've changed mine so that on manual setting; the autofuc is continuously focusing rather than what it sounds like ytou have now in which if it can't focus properly it will quit trying all together. it's also set so that you can chose you're area of focus using the directional pad.
