How will the online play work?

Will this site have a specific server or what? Also, something I really want to know....will people be able to hold online games that are password protected? Cause I have a ton of friends and we're planning to have one HUGE frag fest and I don't want any n00bs coming in and ruining it.

of course you can have a password on the server, it will work.. in the full version i think.. If you will sitting on LAN party then you dont start via internet game, you start via LAN so the gamespy n00bs wont join .

We won't all be in the safe house....I don't have enough $$$ to set up a huge LAN party, but that would kick ass if I could do that.

But there'll be password protected games on the public servers, correct?

yea! it would be strange if you couldent do it... because some people want to play just with their friends... I belive there will be some kind of password thing.

well everyone just get the server's IP # and type it in...unwanted guests can't get in!!!
if you are going to be server and you do not know what your IP adress is go to www.whatismyip.com
and give the # to all of your friends that are going to join....that way people WITHOUT the # cannot join in....just remember to uncheck "use gamespy" button........
