Default How do I download this video? - 06-15-2004, 11:26 PM

Okay, this may be a stupid question, but I want to download this streaming video:

http://boss.streamos.com/wmedia/jetstre ... ne0704.wvx

How can I download it to my computer?

I know i can right click the link and download the link, but all that is is the location of where the video is on the web. I don't want that, I want the whole thing on my computer, and not have to access the internet to get it.

I want the whole 5 meg vid, or however big it is.

Thanks.

Well, the video isn't downloaded, so it isn't in the temp folder.

And I tried that program buck but all it did was download the 1kb location of the video, not the video itself.

The reason I want to download it is for a video i'm going to put together.

Any other ideas?

If it's available, use your video card's TV-OUT function and record the video
with your VCR. You can always send it back in after. I do believe I've heard
of a program which saves the stream to a local file but I can't remember the
name. Try Google...

Thanks. I found a program that will download the stream. There are a bunch here:

http://all-streaming-media.com/record-v ... -video.htm

So I downloaded them and tried to put them into Priemere and it won't accept that file since its ion .avi. oOo:

Oh well, I have tv rips of all 7 games of the finals that I will use for the video.

Thanks everyone.

Yes, but that just saves the location of the file, not the whole file itself. Thats why you need to use a program to download stream.
