Depending on what decoder you're using on your computer, there is an option, usually in the form of a camera, that you click to capture the DVD scene. I don't know if you have this option on a regular DVD player as I don't have one, yet.

PowerDVD has the option right in the bar of the program. I use that, and edit the pics in PSP.
