I am interested in setting up my own forum for various reasons and i was wondering if you guys knew any that i could use... apart from these...

If you want to use phpBB, you'll need some server space and an empty database (preferably MySQL), the others are set up for you.

i know, my bro told me that not many free webspace provides have MySQL but he ses tripod do, is this right?

no idea, look into it. I doubt that they would give you a free db and a lot of transfer. Maybe for a small fee.

i am looking into it, i can't find anything to suggest that they actually do... i might just go for one thats already set up, like ezboard....

...any ideas on other free forums like this?

you mentioned the only two that I know of. it might be easier your first time if you go with the pre-set up boards. good luck

cheers, the only problem is, when i had my clan, people found it difficult registering on ezboard and proboards.. they never seemed to get a validation email..... oOo: oOo: oOo:

some guy only pays like 5 dollars for his and has alot of transfer and space not sure of the specifics. i dont think youd like him tho, even tho hes cool to me, hes a hax0r
