The Texas Chainsaw Massacre -
10-18-2003, 06:08 PM
I no longer want to go visit Texas. Ive never been scared from a horror movie but this one definatly is the scariest one of all time. Maybe cause its based on a true story, its kinda like the blair witch project, but not fake and made by a home video camera. Just about all the girls in the theater shit their pants and one girl ran out of the theater crying and puked all over the entrance hallway. Id definatly go see it again cause in most parts your adrenaline pumping. The lepord face guy is awsome, and when you see that he put the face of one of the friends on (the main characters), it made me feel kinda sick. definatly go see it in the theater, it wont be the same in your house.

It's not a true story, it's just based on Ed Gein who wore the skin of his victums as a mask.

Oh yea! that came out i forgot. Yea that movie looks very scary....and you're right, horror movies usually never ever scare me but that one looked like it would have. I was gonna go see it friday night but instead went to my HS football game and to a party afterwards. I love seeing scary movies with girls, they always cling to and burry their heads in your chest - and thats always good. also whats freaky about TCM is that it rly friggin happended. A bunch of college kids got lost and stopped at that house and you know the rest. anways thanks for telling me and remiding me about it coublaka

The original was F*cking great!
At the end, this is the funniest part.
At the end of the oringinal, some black guy threw a rench at leather face and just started to run down the street to nowhere, and they never show where he went.
I just got back from the remake, 'twas teriffic. It had a meathook scene too, if you haven't seen the first one..
****SPOILER*****
There's this part where this guy gets hung on a lamp, and leather face gets his chainsaw and cuts up from between the legs...most painful part of the movie...
And this other part, this guy gets his leg cut off right above the knee, so after that, leather face hangs him on a meethook, and gets some thick salt on the wound, gets so paper and strings it shut. Than the guy tries to get off the hook, but couldn't manage to pull himself completely off and falls back on the hook..
****/SPOILER****
Lol. Did you know they were remaking Dawn of the Dead!? Also a great movie.
You should defenetly see the orginal of most all of the remakes..
I just can't explain it all. Great movie, Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
They never convicted leather face, because they could never find him.
EDIT: IT IS BASED ON A TRUE STORY. The chick who survived explained everything that happened, they just added soem stuff. Don't say it's not a true story (Insert name).

i just saw it with my girlfriend....holy shit.....it was so freaky and disgusting, it made me feel like i wanted to shoot myself...the suspense and tension that builds up is ridiculous, i just kept thinking what if i were Erin, i would kill myself...NO ONE would listen to her...wow....good movie though...really gorey...but what made the movie was the drill sergeant from full metal jacket yelling GET ON THE FLOOR YOU WORTHLESS PIECE OF SHIT and all that stuff...it made me so happy
