Default font help - 02-08-2004, 11:45 PM

ok, when i download a font, i save it into the fonts folder, then i unzip it, then put it into the fonts folder. Then i go into PS and try to use the fonts and they arent there. Am i doing something wrong?

Try actually opening your Fonts folder, then using it in PS. That works for me.

Yeah, i have to do that every time i put in new fonts..

ok when i try to open it directly it says cannot open then it says cannot open C:\Documentsandsettings......then the rest of the directory stuff where the font would go.

Don't open the font, open the font folder. C:\Windows\Fonts

what i have to do is unzip them into another folder the cut and plste them into the fonts folder. then it will say "intalling fonts" after that they work
what OS are you using?
