If you remembered 11-15 - Don't tell your age.

I'm 27 , but I grew up in the country in Missouri. I have a few more for you too....lol. I grew up in an area that was several years behind , and had very traditional ways.

Wooden Indian statues.
Candy Cane spinning pole outside the barbar shop.
Passanger Trains that run on coal.
Hunting for Dinner...with a rifle.
Chewing tobacco in a bag.
Black and White porn mags.
Glass prescription bottles.
Rubberband guns.
Fabric wrapped electric cords. I don't know what they are actually wrapped with , but it's very much like fabric...lol
Oil Lamps instead of flashlights.
Weekly radio programs.
Rabit ears for TV reception.
Rotery style phones.
Iron Skillets , and pots.
Wood stove. ( for heating )
Refillable ink pens.
Foot powered Sewing machines.

And a few experiances that should be noted :

With a note from my grandma , I could go to the local grocery store and get cigerettes at age 7.
Playing barefoot in the local junkyard , and it was ok.
Playing baseball with a tree limb and a half-deflated basketball.
Going to the bar and having a soda at age 7. Uncle is a biker.
The May-Fair town parade. Held once a year filled with vendors , firetrucks , and ICEE's in big plastic cups.
The main street of the town was Main St.

I was in Lowry City Mo.

It is right in-between Clinton and Osceola , on highway 13.

About 100 miles north of Springfield.

I was 3 or 4 when my parents moved there. Stayed until about 12.
