Default Desktop Theme progs - 08-26-2004, 08:02 AM

I'm considering changing my desktop themes. I am thinking of using Desktop X or something similar. What programs do you guys suggest? Also do the themes chew up system resourses? If so, can I just use the themes on a different user account so can use the other to save resources for games and such? Thanks for any info guys.

ahaha, i tried doing that plenty of times, fucked my computer every time.

one time i had changed my theme, and then every window and the background went black, all i could see was my buddy list on AIM, and icons but without text. i was flipping out, had no idea how to fix it. i had to click randomly to get to the display options, click randomly to scroll to a different theme, and then click ok. it was so scary.

I dunno....I don't want to screw around with stuff I don't know anything about. It probably works but I don't wanna fuck my PC up. Thanks for the advise though.
