Roflmao, the rumors are true:

[quote:299ff]March 3, 2005 - Look out Snoop, you're not the only rapper strutting into the videogame limelight. Eminem's protégé, 50 Cent, is teaming up with Vivendi Universal to create a unique videogame property starring the hip-hop superstar. 50 Cent: Bulletproof isn't the real-life tale of 50 growing up (and getting shot nine times), but is instead a fictional story of drugs and violence set in the New York underground.

50 Cent plays a bad-ass who gets double-crossed and dragged into a deadly international conspiracy. With guns in hand and a take-no-prisoners attitude as his armor, 50 rips through the crime families of New York. While little else has been revealed about Bulletproof, rest assured it will feature plenty of action. If the trailer, which debuted on MTV.com, is any indication, expect heavy gunplay, scores of dead people, and a whole lot of 50 up in people's business.

"God's a seamstress who tailor-fitted my pain," says Mr. Cent in his 2003 debut album Get Rich or Die Tryin'. From the trailer and comments by Executive Producer Andre Emerson, Bulletproof should showcase 50's "one man against the world" attitude. That doesn't mean pals Eminem, Dr. Dre, and members of G-Unit won't be making an appearance. Vivendi's staying silent on potential co-stars for now, but you can check out details on the music of Bulletproof at IGN Music.

"In everything I do, I play to win," said 50 Cent. "I'm out to destroy the competition and my video game is no different. It's a fantasy version of my life. I plan to shake up the videogame world like I did the rap world -- I'm pulling no punches with my game."

Platforms for 50 Cent: Bulletproof have not been revealed, but PS2 and Xbox seem the likely fit. However, since the game is in an early stage of development, don't count out the possibility of next-generation systems getting into the mix. Look for Bulletproof to get the big reveal at E3 2005 in May.

We spoke with Executive Producer Andre Emerson, who's former credits include Dead to Rights, about 50's upcoming videogame debut. While Andre wasn't quite ready to give in-depth details, he did offer some insight into what gamers can expect from Bulletproof.[/quote:299ff]
