it's just amazing how big 'outer space' is. Something that many light years away is just rediculous. If we even ever figure out a way to travel at the speed of light without falling apart/messing around with time it would take an incredibly long time to get there anyway. dayum....

It's called VLT because it is actually 4 telescoped hooked up together.

There is also a VLA (Very Large Array) in New Mexico:

On the topic of the article, its neato to see. Too bad its freezing there, and the planet is absolutley enormous.

BTW 450 light years away is so insignificant it's pretty much our own back yard. It sounds far, but when compared with the rest of the galaxy, it's a joke. And it's because the planet is so huge that we were able to see it.
