Default Wireless Networking - 05-14-2005, 02:31 AM

I recently bought a d-link wireless router, and a d-link wireless card for my laptop. The trouble is I can't seem to get them working with my internal DSL modeom (PPPoE). There's no clear options for it when running through the router's wizard. Any help?

I'm pretty sure that you need an external DSL modem to use a router.

I had problems with D-Links wireless card too, I used windows settings instead of using D-Link and installed Norton Internet Security and everything worked.
I have no idea why but it worked and im happy with it

Just got it working after finding a post with the same problem as mine in another forum. Works great, i'm impressed with the speed in consideration to the amount of walls and ceilings between my router and laptop. I'm going to go for a walk soon, see how far I can go.

That link is for my wireless wrt54g. What model are you using?

This link gives you hacked firware to extend your range if needed:
