im not really a big fan of "if i cry racism enough ill eventually win the oscar: even though practially every role i play my acting is exactly the same", but fuk, a 7.5 rating.

Have you seen Malcolm X? What about Training Day?
Inside man was very enjoyable. Denzel played it pretty straight, and it worked well. The script which wasn't too over the top supported the cast really well and I'm glad it didn't fall into typical cop/hostage film cliches such as jurisdiction arguments and boring over played shit like that.
Spike Lee made a successfully fresh take on the hostage film without taking on any "black themes" whatsoever, what's not to like?

liars.
jamie fox deserved it.
i havent seen malcom x. his performance in training day was nothing impressive what so ever. "Crooked ghetto cop", i mean cmon, how difficult would that be to play. Fuk, i could probably even play it.
the only time ive ever been impressed with his acting was in the hurricaine.
