HMS Daring . Not sure if I like the design yet, looks like a big ol dildo excuse for a radar... Certainly isn't a beautiful ship like the WW2 destroyers, but she might grow on me with some rum beer goggles. She's designed to be stealthy which would explain her bizzare appearance, though probably not on par with the Scandinavian stealth ships like the Skjold. She's got some very fine kit & is in line with the Arleigh Burke destroyers of the US Fleet. According to Janes she's the only ship in the world able to take out the SS-N-27 commie missile. Tho no doubt the yanks will over take us again in a few years biggrin: I hear there'll be a gym installed & internet access too. Maybe if I'm lucky enough to serve on her in a few years time I'll be able to post on GF1 dance: I spose all the regulars are fighting to get places on her at the moment though.

US is already working on destroyers that are supposed to be pretty awesome. Lockheed got beat out on the bid, but I think Northrop is making them...

yeah, my dad was pissed when they didn't get the bid cause he works for Lockheed and he said there was some unfairness, but w/e, either way it should be a good ship.

no, this was different, it was like they ignored one of the design guidelines
