There is an extra 0 in there.

Those are profession cards aimed at high end graphic design and CAD work. They are usually $800 to $3000.

I used to use an nvidia quadro FX series card in my home PC... wasn't very good for gaming. I pilfered it from a Dell CAD box that came through my office that was getting an ATi FireGL put in instead. Not worth the $ for a home user.

Theres a mod knocking around..or a bios update or something along those lines for the 9800 to make it a firegl card.
