Default My First Model Ever. Uh this has to do with Enemy At Gates. - 08-31-2002, 12:41 AM

Well, I wanted to start modeling, since i sucked at mapping. I picked up a model program today, and spent hours figuring it out and going through a shitload of tuts.

Well, this is what i ended up with 5 hours of work.

What program did you use? I would like to take up some 3d modeling for some private projects. So any info you have on the program, mainly cost, is appreciated.

free program. And teachs you how to do some things. I did the mase first to get used to tools, then I did the plane, You can learn face's, characters, alot of stuff.

And its much like 3DMax made by same people Decreet. You can load images in the background to make the model. Which i think is cool. Its is VERY! user friendly, that is, if you can learn and follow the tuts.

MAKE SURE you start with mase lol. It teachs you whats what.

Ooh! a blue plane! I wish I still had my yoda model from JO, it looked good. But hey, my only question to modelers is how in the world they are going to incorporate their models into the game.
