Default That damn floppy wire of your headphones - 07-08-2006, 03:00 PM

I know we all experience the same problem with our headphones for our mp3 players. I am really sick and tired of trying to untangle my headphone cord every time I go and use my player. I put it in my pocket a lot so I can't have anything bulky. I saw on a website a ball with a bunch of spikes sticking out all around it so you can wrap your cord in that. It didn't seem practicle unless you just sit at your desk with your player. Who wants to carry around a ball with a wire wraped around it?

What are some products that I can buy to tackle this problem? Is there some little device that lets you wrap up the cord real easily after use? If there is a good solid design for one, I may just fabricate a replica with supplies from home depot or wal-mart.

I was also thinking, is there any device that you can use like a bluetooth headset? I think Apple had something out like that for their ipods, but I'm a creative vision:m owner. I wonder if they will ever make some sort of wireless earbuds/headset in the near future.

If anyone can help me out, I'd appreciate it. The damn tangles are driving me nuts.
