I want my hockey back!

I just watched game 7 between Calgary and Vancouver, and man that game was amazing. 2-1 Calgary, and Vancouver scores with 6.4 seconds left in the third period. Then 1.5 minutes into overtime Calgary scores to win the series. Just amazing. I felt like I was reliving the game over again.

I remember exactly where I was when Calgary won that game. You know just like how people know where they were when they heard JFK was shot, or on 9/11, I remember where I was during game 7.

I actually have Calgary Hitmen Season Tickets which is the local Jr. team in the Western Hockey League. And I have the IIHF World Jr. Hockey Championship to look forward to on December 26th.

I'm sure a lot of Canadians look forward to watching the tournament every year at Christmas. It's a tradition around here.

But Nothing is the same as NHL hockey.

My sister moved to Warroad, Minnesota. She is supposedly a really good goalie. The whole point of her moving there was pretty much all about hockey. eek:

EA Sports NHL games since 2001 have slowly been going down the shitter. PC Gamer mag did a review of 2005 how it stacked up to the older NHL games and ever since 2000 the NHL series has took a straight dive in ratings.
