I love the new icing rules, the team that commits can not switch lines, so a tired 4th vs a fresh 1st line = VERy intresting game, I am really looking forward to this season now. biggrin:
Chris pronger is an oiler! Shit. Good and bad. Anyway, that means they probably can't afford Neidermayer, and don't really need two high priced defencemen, which gives us a better shot.
When there is offsides but the defensive team gets the puck, i think.
they changed it now so if the offense sees that they
ve been offside they can "tag up" and clear the zone while they keep control of the puck and then re-enter the zone again (hopefully onsides).
That's the most retarded rule change I've ever seen.
Well it basically means that they just fix their mistake before the penalty is called. Chances are the defense would all be down their anyways by the time the offense reset. Really doesn't do much other than keep the clock going.
What the hell. Fuck high scoring. You can't fucking totally change the game. Offsides is offsides. I like eliminating the Red line, and the no tie games rule, but you can't change every fucking factor. I don't want games to be 17 to 12 and shit like that. How are goalies supposed to break old records if they're expanding the crease and whatknot.
Don't blow things out of proportion. The only thing that was proposed that would shoot the scores up that high would be a 4 man line and that isn't happening.
Nuiendike and Roberts for 4.5 mill? Fuck, these guys are going to break a hip when they come out on the ice. Nice to know they're just in it for the money. They could have signed with Ottawa where they actually have a chance of a stanley cup, but i guess they'd rather work on their tan. Nice passion for the game guys.
they would have a chance in Toronto...If Toronto makes the playoffs it guarentees the Senators won't win the cup because they couldn't beat us if God himself was helping them
Naslund stays in Vancouver
Kovalev stays in montreal who also sign Dandenault
Penguins sign Sergei Gonchar
Niedermayer decision could come today
New Jersey is believed to be offering a deal worth $6.8-million a season. Vancouver, Detroit, Calgary and Pittsburgh are also said to be in the mix.
Other rumors have Brian Leetch going to Detroit
Lindros to either nashville or Toronto
