[quote:9e873]youll convert back in less than a month ...same shit happened to me.[/quote:9e873]
As soon as FF fixes the inability to close a SINGLE tab thats causing the entire program to lag - itll be forever eating IE's dust.
Sure FF keeps everything in one neat nice little pane - but what you sacrifice is just mind blowing. . .
[quote:9e873]ff as of now I have
My weather right on the bottom of my bar unobtrusive, gmail notifier, seemless integration of a my downloads in a little bar on the bottom, News feed reader built into browser, simple ftp built into browser, the ability to highlight text and auto copy it [/quote:9e873]
Which 99.1337 percent of the polulation has ZERO use for - much less in some gaudy overloaded web-app.
You want weather - stick your head out the window.
Gmail Notifier - that lil tab that says "GMAIL - INBOX (1)" should be a pretty good indicator if you have mail.
News Feed - CNN.com - oh hell. . .7 characters, my hands are about to fall off.
FTP - only addicts who arent getting any at home have any need to dl porn at work.

http://www.netscape.com/
^^ tried the same shit a few years ago ( btw netscape is based on mozilla, same as firefox ), and who the fuk even mentions their name. ill give firefox 2, 3 more years at best. ive already been reading firefox users commenting on ie7 on microsofts ng forums and they seem quite pleased.

Im a lil wary about reinstalling the IE Beta - I know after I installed it - it pooped on my computer. But what I did try - I liked. I appreciate what FF is trying to do, but alot of the FF Boosters remind me of the APPLE boosters. . .
Sure the product might be sleeker and less "corporate" (yea right, JOBS is pissing hundred dollar bills) - but its get the same problems that the competition has - although for some reason I have this fantasy about fucking an asian on top of one of the 17 inch powerbooks.

Unless I want the weather for oh lets say 2 days from now. sorry I have better things to do than hold my head out the window for 2 days I can also just mouse over a little icon then going to http://www.weather.com then typing in my zip code then scrolling down.

Allows me the ability to see I have new mail, w/o bringing up the browser every 2 minutes

News Feed - CNN.com - oh hell. . .7 characters, my hands are about to fall off.[/quote:6f324]
oh hell. 9 other sites all downloaded and previewed right there just by mousing over them all without having to type 10 different URLs

I use FTP to update website, upload files to our companies ftp, unlike apparently your use for it.
Bada-Bing Bada-Boom 12+ websites checked as well as my email all while still doing work and never opening another browser/program unless I feel like it!

What do you live in a bubble? - Who doesnt know what the weather is going to be like in their hometown? Unless you are deaf, mute, and blind - theres no logical reason other than Souther Inbreeding to not know what the weather is going to be like. . .

Keep the browser open. Its not like having too many browsers open is a pet peeve of yours.

You exist on the cusp of Internet Evolution - youre to be applauded. The rest of us will be content with not being too lazy to drag a mouse up to the top of our web-browser and clicking "BOOKMARKS" -
OH THE PAIN!
Seriously - your FF looks like a cheap hooker dressed up in a CHANEL™ dress, high heels with neon lights tooked into the pumps and bright green lipstick.

that is honestly your weakest attempt EVAR at trying to justify what your point.
I mean do you honestly believe I keep all that shit open. Its there I click it check and then close it. 98% of the time my browser is just like your sex life, dull, devoid of anything, and by itself.

meanwhile you talk about OH NOES TEH BOOKMARKS. you go and open each and everywebsite then look at it move to the next. with the rss reader it downloads all the headlines right there in one box, i can preview them on 10 different sites without actually browsing to them.
