[Ydiss]

Aged 7 I managed to trip whilst running and smashed my face into a brick wall at full tilt. Woke up about 20 minutes later gushing blood from my upper lip - took about 3 weeks for the swelling to go down - can you say Elephant Man?

Aged 18 I was playing football and, yet again at full tilt, ran into a mate and we smacked foreheads together. My eyebrow took 11 stiches to fix and was hanging open for about 4 hours. He only had 7 stiches, lucky bastard.

The anasthetic ran out half way through the stiching, too, so I felt about 7 of them. It was a case of deciding between feeling the needle being pulled through my eyebrow or more injections into my upper eye.

Fun.

Oh, and I've woken up during an opperation when I was about 5, too. That was nasty.

I've managed to stay out of hospital since, except for the obvious impending baby situation with the girlfriend.

No matter how much pain I and you all have been through, I don't envy what she'll have to go through within the next few weeks biggrin:
