ok Rizzy, i found this post in a different forum but it's about a "Netgear Router". I hope this info helps you:

[[[[My config, with a netgear router (same basic thing)

router IP- 192.168.0.100
Computer-192.168.0.1
Kid's computer-192.168.0.2
All other devices-DHCP from router range 192.168.0.10-192.168.0.50

You only need to forward 2 ports UDP 12201, 12203 (12203, 12300 for full version) to the IP of the computer hosting the server.

Some times I set up a dedicated server on the kids cpu. So i point the ports to that IP address.

From my computer I join the server from the LAN side. This way I have the freedom to quit and do other things with my computer, while people still get a chance to play on my network.

My 24/7 demo server (Chaz's MoH -The Hunt-) is on a buisness class LAN with a very advanced router. However, it's still the same to set it up. Simply forward the 2 ports UDP to the server machine.

It might take a few for your server name to show up on gamespy. I'm sure you checked "use gamespy" when you set the server up. (?)

Now if I can only figure out how to get my private password to work on my dedicated...... It really stinks when you host a server, but can never play on it because it's always full!!!! :-)

Does this help you guys with Netgear?
