I tend to agree with Judas here. There're some highly inflated egos around these parts who have absolutely no right to be that way. There are only a select few people I've seen here who can approach a high level of artistic skill, and it seems that those few people are cool enough not to resort to childish flaming.

Take yourself down a peg or two.

As for Jason's question, the "rips" I did for the FvJ poster, it's made with a few layers and some inner shadowing. It's not complicated, but it's hard to explain.

Try looking for photoshop tutorials on Google and keep an eye out for any ones that describe techniques for cracks, cracked metal, or things like that.
