Here's how it works:

Kids (13-16 YO) watch SPR and BoB. They see Pvt Jackson and Sgt Guarnere and want to be just like them. They see this commercial about a PC fighting the Germans so they beg mommy to go buy it for them. Same with Enemy at the Gates. It's all about the money.
