I'm the Arch-Mage of the Mage guild. Didn't take too long and the benefits you get are cool...

Now, it's either the Fighter's guild or Thieves guild... didn't decide yet. I'm just wondering how becoming a member of the latter will affect my standing in the Mage's guild ??
It doesn't affect anything. As I understand it, you can become the highest rank of every guild and it doesn't matter.
I would be careful though. Appearantly there is a bug with Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood guilds that prevents one from advancing in either. Cant remember where I saw it on the main forum.

DB quests are great - and if you have a pretty good sneak/security skill - you can steal some wicked items from your "contact" in the DB (if you dont get caught).

Of course the loot is dependent on your level - so if you've already got good shit from being Fighters Guild head - I wouldnt expect much. Off to find those 100 Artifacts.
