You obviously have a auto trans if you have park, so you don't really need to rev the engine unless your doing a neutral drop, in which case you'd need to be in neutral, however i don't recommend this maneuver. Or if your racing, you would probably want to rev in neutral, because putting the car in park to rev it would be retarded.
