Have you actually researched the War of 1812? It was a standstill with almost equal victories on all sides - ended in a treaty. British/Colonial Canadians forced the US to abandon it's objective to take Canada but that doesn't mean they won the War by a long shot you silly, silly man.

I'd argue the British had more/greater victories during the war, but in peace talks, the US definitely had the greater victory. But yes, in the end, it was more or less a war nobody "won".
