I checked my ping on gamespy from outside my network and it actually wasn't as bad as i thought it would be . . . it was around 120 which i guess is still kinda high but not so ridiculous as i thought.

my next question would be this: do i set the challenge ping to a higher setting to allow people to connect.

i ask this because i see people trying to connect in the console and it looks like they get kicked cos their ping is high.

what's a standard challenge ping that most servers use?
