I can't believe it is OS Patch related! I already own Mafia and have no problems at all! I think this is a different problem. I have been trying to communicate that to EA Games but my complaints have fallen on deaf ears!

They have basically stated that no one else is reporting problems, and they believe that 2.11 patch to Spearhead has cleared up all or at least the majority of problems on the original release! Which I say is Bullshit!

So if there is anyone else out there who has had major slowdown problems on Berlin or the Ardennes maps, shout about it to EA Games, perhaps they will listen if poeple complain on mass!

Cheers for everyones comments and help. Keep the ideas coming, I will try anything at the moment to try and retrieve my framrate! :-)
