That's not what I meant, and you know it damn well: why be selective ? Why
not ask ALL people, regardless of age, sex and race, to present themselves ?

There are thousands, maybe a hundred thousand illegal immigrants in the
US of A right now and for some reason, only taliban-looking, age specific
men are asked to present themselves at some random place to get jailed?
Sounds awefully Simpson-ish if you ask me.*

EDIT: I have no problem with them enforcing the immigration laws, but I
want them to come forward and say it: " We may or may not be enforcing
immigration laws; you might say we are and starting by the most troubleing
group..."
