I havent played MOHAA, as my PC wont run it. Hopefully i'll get a new one soon, but I saw this post and felt something had to be said.

Just because that was posted on the DoD forums, doesnt mean everyone on them argees with him. You'll see the post has been closed now.

Also, of some of the posts here, I noticed that the praise MOHAA is getting over DoD is mainly visual: I hate to say it but:

well no shit sherlock!

Of course MOHAA looks better, its a brand new game. If it looked worse i'd be quite worried. We've known its looked better since the screen shots were released.

The gameplay is all that matters to me... sure its good if it looks nice, but i'd rather play a deep, enjoyable bad looking game than a shallow beautiful game.

For example, I'm playing a lot of Civ2 right now - that is not pretty at all but I love it cos its has such good gameplay. I'll get Civ3 soon, which I've been told is Civ2 with more features and better graphics.

Just remember when damning other things, look beyound the glamour and take a look at the guts.

Thats all that matters to me.
