They have always used "Shows" to not only scare the enemy but to have him relocate his troops. We did this in the Gulf war. The USA had a huge naval force waiting in the Gulf looking liek they were gonan invade. Sadam sent his troops to the shore and the USA rolled in the back door with tanks and blew their army away. And I just learned this today from one of my fellow historians N.Korea and hte rest of the countries involved the the Korean war have yet to sign a treaty to end the Korean war. Therefore we are still technically at war but under a sieze fire agreement. This is one of the reasons everyone in the White house is pissed off that N.Korea has a nuke program.
