if you ask me, the round should NEVER end when the enemy team is killed. Why? it makes team deathmatch a viable option even on this map.

The way i look at it, the Axis need to use the 88 to fire on an allied convoy or something that will be comming in range in 4 minutes (say it takes 1 minute to destroy the convoy), the axis need to delay the allies from destroying the 88 until it can fire and destroy the convoy. (this is the only realistic explination for the timer i can think of heh).

So if that is the case, and the axis are able to hold off the allies for 4 minutes and 20 seconds, but the allies are still 30 seconds away from the 88, they should loose. Then even when all the axis are eliminated if they have delayed the allies long enough, the axis can still win.

On the flip side, when the allies sucessfuly kill all the axis, they must still move in and destroy the gun, the round won't end.

I'd be willing to sit in spectater mode waiting for the allies to blow the gun because i think it will promote the real essence of the map. If the allies can't win except by blowing the gun, they might as well get there fast and try to outmanuver the axis eh?

I'm guessing 85% of the time the round ends it's because one team has whiped out the other, and that promotes team deathmatch style of play. So force them to destroy the gun and it will not promote DM as much

Thats my idea and i'm stikin to it.
