I dind't like RTCW at all.

i cant believ that men of valor is using unreal engine. did u see the screenshot's they look like mohaa's graphix.

The game is probably almost two years away from release. I am sure the graphics will be better. The ut2k3 engine should be a vast improvement over the q3 engine.

i'd the gameplay to be similar to operation flashpoint's

MOH was one of the most unrealistic gameplay experiences ever. For the reasons as stated by Strik0r above. You have to be joking me if you think this game is realistic.

DoD has its kinks, yes, but it is far more enjoyable, the support (by Valve, by the community, and by the dev team) is very good, and the DoD team continues to strive for a better, realistic, and enjoyable gameplay experience. Not to mention, it is fully customizable, with a real SDK.

Now the TL, DR (Too Long, Didn't Read) version - DoD > MOHAA, and most other WWII games.

Considering the guts of the engine is Quake 1 and 2, essentially, I believe they did pretty well, don't you?

BTW, the default models are old and have been replaced in 4.0.

I'm sure DoD is fun to play, but that looks like a close up on a really crappy RTS. I think they need a new engine.

DoD kicks ass, it has the best WW2 combat for a fps. All others are deathmatch set in WW2, but DoD is paced realisticly and people dont jump around or go all over. The animationes on the run and walk make the gameplay realistic. The models in the game can all be replaced by better ones so that doesnt matter. The guns kick ass too, they put lots of detail in to them. Best mobile MG system ever created i might add. The K-98s with the bayonets on em = cool: Plus you can throw grenades back.

Wow actually sounds good, the screen shots probably not the best to promote DoD then? cause it sure makes it looks ugly.

The guys in the screenshots look like zombies from doom
