It's arcade to me until MoH bullets do what real bullets do...a leg hit puts you down and leaves you crawling, if it doesn't actually kill you, and an arm hit leaves you one-armed...firing your weapon one-handed is a legit challenge.
Anywhere else, you are DEAD instantly. Or at least un-concious.
These things aren't hard to code, even as switchable options. But it costs money, and they are options that won't be used by the majority of purchasers (kids) so the developers don't need to give a damn.
Bottom line...knock out the bare minimum to the kids, bank the moolah and take a long vacation. Happens time and time again, at least on this side of the old Iron Curtain.
