Never saw it, but I'll guess:

Does it have to do with something like his gun wasn't loaded or the gerand clip already popped?

Was the bolt open? I never saw that one either, so I'm just guessing.

Well, I'll let you off the hook.

Mark fires 13 rounds from his M1 into a german soldier...that's 13 rounds in a ROW.

Now, anyone who isn't an MG whore in MoH (heh heh) would know that the M1 holds 8 rounds and once the 8th round is fired, the empty clip is ejected with the characteristic *PING*.

In that movie, there was no *PING*s whatsoever.

Ok, here's one : What's the most noticable error when Jackson snipes, in Saving Private Ryan?[/quote:5bf77]

I was going to say when he was in Vierville, he says "2 clicks left" obviously talking about windage, but he adjusts the focus on the front. Also, he was using a Unertl scope which was issued only to Marines, Army snipers used the Remington scope.[/quote:5bf77]

or that he was left handed and had to reach over the gun to reload it

The point of that was the bolt was on the right hand side of the gun, if he went left handed, he would have to work the bolt backhanded, which would take longer, plus in the army then, they only trained you to shoot right, but you could use your left hand for the bolt.
