dont try to take all the credit yourselves. if it wasent for the US helping the allies they probly would have lost the war, if the allies dint help the US try to fend of germany the US would have lost. but put together, we did have the stregnth to push germany back. I really hate it when peopl go around making it sound like The US saved europe from germany all by itself.

The reason why we are going to war is because Saddam is a liar and an evil dictator who kills his own people and poses a threat to the United States and his surrounding countries. The reason why oil prices are going up is not because of Iraq, but because of Venezuela. Venezuela is the third largest oil producing country in the world and they have recently been going on with strikes in the oil business, these strikes have halted the oil coming out of Venezuela and to America. If we wanted oil so bad, we could just go to Venezuela.

SOmething to make more sense to say would be: "The French DON'T want war because of oil" because they stand to lose tons of money if we attack Iraq.

If you want to get into the oil business with Bush Sr. then you need to realize that the high prices of oil right now is good for oil business, if Iraqi oil is brought into the mix, prices will shoot downward and hurt the domestic oil companies, such as Bush Sr. so in effect, Bush Sr. would lose money.
