did Iraq ask to be liberated? if they want to be liberated so bad then y are they still fighting us? and why are they still honoring Saddamn? Cmon, do u honestly think Bush is goin in there just to get rid of a few terrorists? its not gonna get rid of em all. terrorism will always be alive, no one can stop it. Now back in the 1810-1840s, we were in a war with Mexico. it started because we started sending people into Texas and then we wanted independence. Mexico declined Steven Austin's request for independence and Steve A. sent a letter home saying to get ready for a revolt. Steve A was captured and the Texan people got mad, they resulted in a war.We started sending people into Mexico to ''liberate'' it. and then we took over more land: California, and many other spots. We called this Manifest Destiny, the thought that America should occupy all the land in mid Noth America. Now we are sending more and more troops there to Iraq everyday, and we are occupying the countries around it. what if Manifest Destiny pops up again?
