the pegasus bridge part was totall shit, i have been working on a map for moh for about 7 months and im trying to get everything exact to the real thing on 6/6/44 ask me anything about pegasus bridge and ill tell you. example: sandbag bunker (in movie) was a concrete bunker across the road (real life). those wooden planks that they brit paras run on under the bridge to look for explosives (in movie) wherent there. infact the whole bridge wasnt rigged due to the Co of the garrison of the bridge was "afraid of resistance attacks"(real life). i say that part is 40% historically accurate



that part where major pluskat is in his bunker is fake. infact in real life that bunker wasnt finished, in the filming of the longest day they had to remove alot of dirt from the front side of the bunker.

there are loads of stuff thats not accurate in the longest day but remember the movie was made in Hollywood early 60's
