this may be a stupid responce but it happened to me the first time i tried to fire that gun. did you know you have to hold down the fire button until the gun charges its self up...it takes a few seconds before it fires. if you release the fire button you have to wait all over again..it took me a few times before i figured that out. if you have a clean install i just thoght that might be the problem.
