heh, reading my post i actually didnt say why i liked flight sims oOo: well, the beauty for one thing....the graphics on FB are amazing. another thing is ...well, without being blunt, flying. its so cool to take off in a huge hulking pe-8 bomber with a 5000 lb bomb , flying over to the enemies base, and mushroom clouding its ass! happy:

dogfighting-its an experience unmatched in online gaming. its different every time. your battlefield is so much LARGER, as opposed to a fps, where you dont have many options except run around, or hide only to be sniped when found. when you fight in the air, the possibilites are almost endless.

finally , id say the comeraderie is what keeps me playing combat sims too. most of the ppl who fly in squads or fly in general are much older in age, and much more mature. this is due to the fact that most flight sims are quite difficult to play, more importantly, to BE GOOD. fps are way to easy to "own". you put that same 14 yr old punk who says "owned" after his kills in mohaa into the cockpit of a La-7 or a Fw-190, and the only thing he will own is the dirt. heh.

my 0.02

J
