I think what some people are trying to say about the sniper controversy is not as much as the sniper whoring goin around in the Omaha Beach...but the fun factor itself on what the Beach is supposed to represent and that is.. on the Allies side..it should be harder for them to storm the Beach because of those 4 MGS that the Axis have...and on the Axis side..they should be able to use the MGs at its full capacity & not be abandoned most of the time due to sniping.

Anyway instead of that, it is not the case because if you had played the Omaha Beach map then you would know that it takes only a few seconds to use the gun before being sniped. It's a known fact. This notion of changing your strategy isnt the issue.. there aint much strategy you can implement from getting your head blown off by a sniper whenever you get on that machine gun. The bottom line is, those MGS are useless because its just instant death from a sniper which makes the appeal of Omaha Beach less appealing and I think that's what the petition is all about. Those MGS are there in Omaha Beach for a purpose and that's to make the Allies advancement difficult. Unfortunately its pretty useless when you have snipers up the wazoo.
