I think you need to get the facts straight before you get all bent out of shape and say she should die etc...

1st off like many already said this was the media and government that played up this rescue. Jessica herself said that it has been overdramatized and she feels used that they taped the entire thing to use as PR. She NEVER admits to going down fighting and gives all the credit to her squad mates. She herself says that she is not a hero and that she will not take credit for something that did not happen to her. she was never shot, stabbed, raped or beaten. all of her injuries occured from the vehicle crash. There were no Iraqis in the hospital when she was rescued only hospital workers who were treating her.

That being said anyone who serves in the military and goes to war is a hero in my eyes more than many of us will ever be

so next time you feel like making some dumbass comments take a moment from bitching about how your mom hates you and your life is horrible and get to know the facts
