If they just re designed it to 8 like ATi they would have a new line of cards almost 2x as powerful. But iuntil then they are kinda screwed. ATi for sure. But for the price the XT isnt really worth the upgrade unless you run at 1600.1200x+res. So pro would be a good way to go if possible. If money aint that important to ya.
