I have to agree that the novelty has worn off in a big way. Same goes for RtCW. I was a big proponent of this game at first.
The first week it was released, we had 10 to 12 guys playing on the LAN every night at work. Nobody is playing it now, myself included.
Everyone went back to more the standard favorites of Quake3 and CounterStrike. I can't say exactly why. I guess the gaming experience of MOHAA just isn't that satisfying once you get over the novelty of historic uniforms, bleak environments and classic (dare I say boring) weapons.
