The sniper rifle requires a skilled user to be most effective, its not just about pulling a trigger. Its about positioning, awareness ,patience, timing, and at the very end, is pulling the trigger.

Look at it this way give a newbie a shotgun, then see how many kills he gets in his first 5 rounds, then give him a sniper rifle and see how many kills he gets.

The shottie is all about reflexes and hardly any aiming. But when it comes to the sniper rifle, some of u say that its easy, cuz all u gota do is pull the trigger and lead...

Anyone ever try hitting a running soldier in the head through a window after spotting him on the window beside the one u are going to shoot him?

Or when being outnumbered, u shoot one guy down, then u relocate to another spot, then u look back and u see soldiers snooping around the spot u were just in, then picking another one off & so on...

U give a newbie a sniper rifle, and the most he'll know how to do is just aim and pull the trigger.(which is pretty bad, considering u gotta find a good spot, not too exposed, and if in danger, to have a getaway route.

but if u give a newb a pumper, hell run around at close range blasting everything without much thought to it.Other than running around in no-mans land.
