No he didn't go too far.

The English French thing is really sensitive in Canada. Don Cherry got in trouble 2 weeks ago for saying French Hockey players were wimps, so the skit comes at a bad time. The media and government makes a big deal out of everything. Nobody really cares. I guess its comparable to the Janet Jackson thing. Everyone made a big deal, but nobody was really offended. In this case however, I think quebeckers were offended, but half of them don't even want to be in Canada, so it's expected. I think it was parliment who made the biggest deal though. They talked about it in the House of Commons. They called it racist and such, but every Canadian outside of Quebec thought it was funny. You have to let that stuff roll off your back.

And don't worry about Alexa McDonough, she's crazy. The NDP are basically communists. Nobody listens to her. She's not even the party leader anymore, this guy is:
