1.8, i've heard of those going as high as 2.5 ghz. Granted with better cooling, and so forth. You could do 2.0 with no real problems i would imagine. If you have some monitoring programs that track heat and so forth you may be able to go further.
Thats nuts. I'm not going to beable to run it. I wans't expecting to, but I don't think my system is that bad. 1.4 AMD XP 512MB DDR Ram 256MB GF5600. Oh well, I wasn't expecting to beable to run it anyway.
If you think its going to require all that. . .well then by all means go out and buy a whole shitload of new components. They're not going to shoot themselves in the foot by making a game with such processing demands. Not a chance.
