The legal drinking age there is 19, so all of us detroiters essentially can drink at 19 by taking a 10 minute drive SOUTH to canada. I used to go every weekend, sometimes twice. The border here in detroit is pretty lax, they realize that a lot of kids are just going bar hopping so they don't give you too much shit. Its alot worse getting into the US than getting into Canada, at least here.
